Pretty good Christmas this year!  I had very musical theatre themed DVD’s as gifts: Wizard of Oz, West Side Story, The Sondheim Birthday Concert and Every Little Step (The Chorus Line Documentary)!  Watched the concert this afternoon and I’m watching Every Little Step now! Also got quite a few things for my upcoming apartment! This was a long Christmas….four rounds of family...

I WANT TO SEE BLACK SWAN!!!!   But, unfortunately with all the holiday and rehearsal craziness, I have no idea when that’s going to happen…..argh.  I have been walking around with my ears plugged regarding this movie.  I don’t want to know ANYTHING, other than what I’ve seen in the trailer. OOOH!!  Maybe next friday!!  I don’t have to work that day….might need...

After all the shows I’ve done, I’ve never witnessed something like this: someone needed an ambulance tonight.  Thankfully, he’s all right, but it was still scary.  I was standing out in the lobby waiting for help to arrive. In other news: 5 day weekend!!  I’m so glad I took monday off.

So about a week ago I said that Celine Dion had named her twin boys Nelson and Eddy after Nelson Eddy, but that is surprisingly not true!  I just saw the actual People magazine article and it said that they’re named after Nelson Mandela and some songwriter whose first name is Eddy.  I have to say that that is an incredible coincidence….and I wish she had named them after him.

Watching another Christmas-y movie!  Tonight it’s The Man who Came to Dinner!  I know it’s not technically a Christmas movie but it takes place during the Christmas season!  I’m watching the live broadcast starring Nathan Lane, Harriet Harris and Jean Smart.  I absolutely adore this play and I really, really want to be in it!  We did the show in high school and I was called back...

I just found out that Celine Dion named her twin boys Nelson and Eddy.  I think I might’ve been the only person watching E News that knew who she named them after!  Way to go.

Watching The West Wing….season 1 Christmas episode!  I love this episode, it makes me cry. I plan to spend the next three weekends watching the first 4 West Wing Christmas episodes.

I’m starting to watch my Christmas-y movies!  Tonight: it’s a production of The Nutcracker that was taped off of PBS in 1989 by my Grandmother.  It’s the Bolshoi Ballet Company with Natalya Arkhipova as Clara. I decided to watch it because my mom and I were going to go see The Nutcracker in a couple weekends but now we can’t.  Which is too bad because I would’ve...
